Wayang Kulit Photography

Interp8 is hosting an exhibition of field photography works from PUSAKA, an organisation that’s dedicated to documenting and promoting traditional performance arts. Here, the works celebrate traditional shadow puppetry or wayang kulit. Banned by the Kelantan state government since 1991, PUSAKA’s head honcho, Eddin Khoo (pictured), has been documenting these traditions for the past 23 years.
