Bangsar Book Club

This month the book club will discuss Julian Barnes’ Man Booker Prize-winning novel ‘The Sense of an Ending’. The story is narrated by Tony Webster, who recounts his time in school when he met the serious, intelligent Adrian Finn. Together with his group of friends they navigate the awkwardness of adolescence and promise to remain friends forever. Then Adrian commits suicide. Forty years later, Tony is forced to remember Adrian and their friendship when he receives an unexpected letter in the mail.
