Just when you thought it would never happen, Tyra Banks’s Top Model franchise has come to the Far East, so be prepared for the usual drama – Asian style. Featuring aspiring models from the Asia Pacific region including Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and Malaysia, the show will follow the usual format – 14 contestants competing each week in photo shoots and challenges before facing elimination at the hand of the judges. So who’s Tyra’s Asian counterpart you wonder? None other than ‘Singapore’s Most Gorgeous Woman’, Nadya Hutagalung. Start getting used to the contestants yelling ‘Nadya mail!’
