(Okita Shuichi, 2009) In 1997, an eight-man research team arrives at the remote Dome Fuji Station in Antarctica. Mr Nishimura, the chef of the team, misses his family and tries to cook delicious meals for the team to keep them happy. Meanwhile, the captain is addicted to ramen, the doctor tries to train for a triathlon when he returns to Japan and the young support member is in love with a telephone operator he's never met before. These very different people have to live together for one and a half years – how will it all fare for them in the South Pole?
