To commemorate the Malaysian International Gourmet Festival (MIGF) 2013, Chef Steven Seow will be whipping up a four-course menu featuring Malaysian classics with experimental twists. Begin with smoked scallop umai sushi with duck confit and pomegranate followed by Sarawak laksa with organic soba noodle and lobster. The laksa is interestingly recommended with a pint of Leffe Blonde on the side. The main is Wagyu beef rendang with farm vegetables and turmeric coconut rice while the 'Eight Treasures' ais kacang (pictured) comes with colourful syringes containing various sauces and syrups.
