Get upclose with international indie bands at Upfront, a series of casual gigs held at The Bee, Publika which saw the likes of Australia's The Jezabels kicking off the new series last June. Come January 2013, Sheffield electronic rock band 65daysofstatic will launch the series' first show of the year.
Often compared to The Prodigy and Pendulum, the four-piece band's intricately layered, dance-y tunes pulsate with energy. Hailed for their live shows, 65daysofstatic have played alongside The Cure during their US tour as well as big names like Metallica, Lostprophets, Linkin Park and Deftones at the 2006 Summer Sonic festival in Japan.
