DJ Miss Nine has come a long way since securing a modelling contract with Elite Model Management at the age of 16. The German-born lass swapped the runway for dance floors in 2003, when she played the iconic Motion parties at Amsterdam’s Musicfactory following a successful first gig atop the Red Bull boat on Queen’s Day, a Dutch national holiday. The versatile turntable maven specialises in progressive and house tunes, with a liking for energetic beats with loads of vocal backings.
With noteworthy performances at Dance Valley and Mambo Beach during her tour of Curacao and Aruba under her belt, Miss Nine has also taken the stage alongside John Digweed, Dave Seaman, Nick Warren, SisterBliss and other experienced names on the DJ circuit. The much-travelled DJ, who is also involved with children’s charitable organisation Plan Nederland, will jet into KL this month to light up this NSFW celebration, which will also see performances by DJ Sutra, Brains & The Eye and Vicharn.
