It’s that time of the year again: Music festivals are coming thick and fast. Back with their second instalment this year, the aptly named We Love Asia 2.0 will run across two days with more than 50 live and DJ performances.
Pitbull (pictured) will headline the festival on day one as part of his Global Warming Tour. The party-rapper in shades will definitely offer more than bangers to soundtrack a club get-together. Swiss house and electro DJ Antoine, Dutch duo Noisecontrollers and German Jerome Isma-Ae are all part of the lineup on day one. Day two sees Taboo from Black Eyed Peas sharing the main stage with DJ Style of Eye, Tomcraft, Bobina, Zombie Kids, Mikkas, Ashley Wallbridge and more. There will also be a ‘Space Ibiza Stage’ and a ‘Family and Friends Stage’ helmed by DJs from the renowned Tomorrowland. Local artistes such as Mizz Nina, Joe Flizzow, Pop Shuvit and others will be doing their thing on the We Love Asia stage.
If you need a break from all the acts, there’s even a fun park featuring some exciting rides (carousel and pirate boats, we’re told). This is certainly the best rave party of the month. Tickets are on sale now. Ian Loh
