Note: La Crêperie de Caroline is now closed.
KL’s first designated crêpe shop has aptly opened in Bangsar, where the deep-pocketed often roam for brunch meals. Owner and Frenchwoman Caroline Broutin notes the city’s lack of proper crêpe shops (the kind that are scattered liberally in Brittany) and intends to introduce savoury crêpes to KL diners. If you’re still reserved about eggs and meat on your crêpe, go for the homemade salted butter caramel topping or the crêpe Suzette, orange cream flambéed in Grand Marnier.
