House of Eight

If you’re not into obsessively refreshing your Instagram feed, House of Eight occupies a small space in Publika’s office block – the only boutique on the block, as a matter of fact. It takes a bit of navigation, but is a gem of a space – small, light-filled and lined with a constantly changing selection of colourful, print-saturated clothes. These pieces are heavy on the kind of digital print made famous by Mary Katrantzou, but you’ll also find peplums, crazy leggings, slouchy knitwear and plenty of studs. All the accessories are designed and made inhouse by co-owner Natrah Omar, and combine chunky chains, colourful cording and the occasional skull.
