Organised by Malaysian Institute of Architects (PAM) and Department of Museums Malaysia (JMM), this exhibition showcases the life and 25 architectural works of Brigadier General Arthur Benison Hubback (1871-1948), who held the position of Government Architect of the Federated Malay States back in the early 20th century. Highlights include the Ipoh Railway Station & Hotel, Malay College Kuala Kangsar, Carcosa, Kuala Lumpur Railway Station & Hotel, Ubudiah Mosque and the Old Kuala Lumpur Supreme Court. The main feature, however, is AB Hubback’s personal 100-year-old painting of the Jamek Mosque, which was recently donated by his grandson, Dr Peter Barbor to the Malaysian Institute of Architects.
