Aimed at empowering Malaysians to protect and conserve our rivers, at GAB Foundation’s River Carnival you can take part in a variety of family-friendly games and activities. Test your skills in the River Hunt where teams compete to complete river, water and biodiversity-related tasks. Children can join the Be A Young River Scientist programme to learn all about rivers including its living organisms and how to measure river cleanliness as well as learn how to create new things out of recycled materials. There will also be a Kids Activity Corner where children can take part in face-painting and carnival games, while Storytime with GABBY gives interactive storytelling sessions to educate children on the water life cycle and what they can do to conserve it.
While you're there look out for The River Musical, a specially produced skit on river related stories happening at selected times throughout the day.
