Celebrities will get you to do anything, like tout a food court eatery or get you to go to a crowded mall for fried chicken. Food Network star Guy Fieri has done both with the Chicken Guy! inside the Aventura Mall. The menu is simple and revolves around fried chicken tenders.
The hero dish is available in a sandwich or in a box to be enjoyed on its own or with one of 22 (!!) different sauces. Several favorites from the exhaustive list of condiments include the Nashville honey hot, avocado crema and curry mayonnaise. Each order comes with two, which seems kind of miserly given the selection. Additional sauces can be purchased for $.50 or, better yet, join the Sauce Squad and get two more for free.
It wouldn’t be a Fieri establishment without some mention of Flavortown, which at Chicken Guy! comes in the form of frozen treats available in two flavors: triple chocolate and double mint, and cinnamon apple that’s generously topped with Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. More of a savory person? Pair your chicken with mac ’n’ cheese, fried pickles or fresh slaw.
