Time Out says

An exhibit themed around ‘space‘ and ‘belonging’ brings together 17 up-and-coming artists across two capitals.

This travelling contemporary art show invites 17 emerging artists to display their work across two complementary exhibits in two of the world’s buzziest art capitals: first Paris (from May 13-25) and then London (June 24-30). It’s an interesting idea, and one that really impresses at Suzanne Tarasiève’s Parisian Loft 19 gallery, putting a clear focus on themes of occupation, who ‘owns’ space and local people’s relations with their land – in sum, abstract artistic takes on some of the key political issues of our time. Eight of the 17 artists are taking part in this Paris leg, with highlights including Conall McAteer’s otherworldly video game-inspired works, the surreal photo scenes of cosmonauts exploring earthly cities by Sarah Fortais, Rafaela Lopez’s lightly haunting exotic birds (seemingly half toucan, half pigeon), or the brilliant interactive video installations of George Eksts and the 4th Dimension collective.
