245 photographs, eight years of work, more than 30 expeditions all over the world: it's a great coup for the MEP to welcome the star photographer Sebastião Salgado. The exhibition ‘Genesis’ collects dozens of images taken in every corner of the planet, a homage to nature, wild and majestic. The Brazilian photographer, with his perfected black and white aesthetic and his exacting chiaroscuros, immortalises elephants, whales, Indians and steep landscapes, showing us the beauty of regions that man has not – yet – spoiled.

Putting it in simple terms, what he was able to capture on film is like nothing you can imagine seeing for yourself in any lifetime. Absolutely brilliant and well worth the wait to experience Salgado's lens for yourself.
