November 21-24, Boulogne-Billancourt
One of the most exciting music festivals in Paris, whose programme features loads of hot new acts and some on the cusp of fame. Last year saw wunderkind Ty Segall, the psychedelic Lumerians, Beak> and more take the stage. This year, the line-up is equally enticing, including the Olivensteins, a cult French punk group from the 70s, guitarist Michel Cloup, Lee Ranaldo from Sonic Youth and Om, who play psychedelic metal with medieval accents. Plenty of smaller acts make up the rest of the bill, making a trip to Boulogne-Billancourt (in the south west of Paris) for the weekend very well worth it.
