The huge terrace of the Dogado Lounge, above the Billa supermarket on strada Nuova, is a great place to stop off for a drink or bite to eat during the day. But this café-restaurant has also become Venice's newest place to dance - and the most popular with young Venetians. The current regime is: salsa nights on Thursdays, regular disco nights on Fridays and Saturdays, and tango nights on Sundays.
