Welcome to My Sunday, Eva Abeling solo exhibition

Sundays can create boredom, bring up fears, make you feel the calmness and the freedom of fantasy. The stillness can provoke loneliness or magic depending on the subjective, personal and mental state. The feeling of loss and loneliness is explored by the blurred contrast of desires and fantasies. Clear beauty can transform rapidly into undefined terror. Eva Abeling's photography observes the sensibility and vulnerability of the body and mind through abstraction. Exhibited in London in the space of The Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane earlier this year, 'Welcome to My Sunday' is in Barcelona for the first time.
