Arena - Classic & Madre review Rate it
The four Arena clubs are still packing them in every week, with a huge variety of punters. The USP is that you pay once, get your hand stamped and can then flit between all four clubs. Madre is the biggest and most full-on, with thumping house and a darkroom; there are shows and strippers at the beginning of the week, but Wednesday's semi-riotous foam party is where it's really at. Classic is mixed, if even cheesier, playing mostly handbag, and, finally, Dandy bangs away with vintage chart hits.
