Creme cremada is the house specialty. DELICIOUS! I may never eat a flan or creme caramel again. If you want to eat homemade custard, this is where to try it. When I entered I experienced a timid and shy, how do I ask for anything moment since I do not speak Spanish or Catalan. Wood interior full of mirrors and sweets. The deli counter is in the back. The Catalan menu for a three-course deli lunch is displayed on the side bar (less than 9 euros). Puzzled, the lady behind the counter helped me decide on the house specialty and took me into the side room of bar stools and counters.

The parent restaurant is about 125 years old, and the one on Plaça de Sarrià (Pl. de Sarria, 12-13. Tel. 93 203 04 73) is over 90, but Foix de Sarrià is wise beyond its years.
