Time Out says

The three friends and owners of top house of ramen Koku Kitchen, Mark, Ross and Bobby, have taken their next logical step with the opening of Koku Kitchen Buns, which specialises in these Asian sandwiches that are taking Barcelona by storm, just as ramen has. You get your steamed bread rolls (the buns, of course) that you stuff with fillings of your choice (chicken, pork, wild mushrooms) and add the fresh garnishes that are slightly different for each filling, among them cucumber, fennel and celery. Then take a big bite. According to Mark, 'We wanted a bit more variety. If you go to a ramen place, you go to have ramen.' He also says that this spot is 'izakaya style', meaning that it's great for sharing. In addition to the buns, they've got the dons – a variety of rice dishes (the vegetarian donburi is phenomenal) – and a quality set lunch menu at a great price, where you get a starter, a main (either buns or a don), a drink, and a home-made dessert that's just the right amount of naughty to set off all the healthy items on the menu.
