La Mercè 2016: Human towers

Once the parade of the Mercè court finishes, in Plaça de Sant Jaume, Saturday's big annual 'casteller' (human tower) performance gets underway. All the casteller groups will be there: the castellers from Barcelona, Santos, la Villa de Grácia, Poble Sec, Sagrada Familia and the youth group from Barcelona. On Sunday it's highly talented invited guest castellers from the rest of Catalunya to show off their mad skills.
