This tall, imposing building seemed to appear from one moment to the next, in this slowly awakening bit of San Telmo in tourism terms. As clean, sleek and impressively modern from the outside as it is light and airy inside, this is one of the city's newest and most pleasant hostels, with dorms and double rooms decorated in cheerful primary colours set against immaculate white. A nightly AR$45 all-you-can-eat asado, including wine and beer, is held on the expansive wooden-decked terrace at the back, and is a brilliant way to get to know your fellow travellers. Excellent disabled access throughout plus a room specially designed for wheelchair access wins it a double thumbs up from us.
