A historic apricot-coloured building with creaky wooden floors and retro signage has housed the gallery since the 1970s and the work inside is mostly by Cape-based artists. Unlike its neighbour, the AVA, Cape tends to favour a more traditional aesthetic approach, including a wealth of landscapes, still lifes and figurative studies. Regular names on the roster include Judy Woodburne, Frederike Stokhuyzen and Max Wolpe.
Open 9.30am-5pm Mon-Fri; 10am-2pm Sat.
