Baghdad Café review Rate it
It looks so tiny from the street but there's a surprising amount of space inside where you can lounge around on cushions and puff on many-flavoured hubblies like the Caterpillar in Alice In Wonderland. The vibe is relaxed and chilled, with DJs spinning R&B and house over the weekends, and karaoke nights on Thursdays.

This is hands down, absoluntely my favorite place to go out on a Friday night in Cape Town. It is an amazing spot to end the night after frequenting some of the other bars along Long Street. Dj Rap It (the guy with the fro) is phenomenal and you will always have a fun time dancing for hours. If you want to chill the back patio is perfect for smoking shisha and hanging out. The cover is never expensive, Nando's is just across the street if you get hungry or dont want to use Baghdad's classy bathrooms, Zula is next door/upstairs if you're looking for dope live music, and it stays open til 3ish, later than most other sports. Also, the bouncers are great!
