Endler Hall is where musical purists gather to enjoy, discuss and ponder a wide variety of classical music, although more and more pop and alternative concerts are slipping in. The annual International Chamber Music Festival is a highlight during the winter months, and the venue is also known for its world-class Marcussen organ. The University of Stellenbosch's Symphony Orchestra is in residence, but others like the CTPO and the scholastic Hugo Lambrechts orchestra can often be heard as well.
