Simon's at Groot Constantia review Rate it
Far from the stuffy establishment you'd associate with an award-winning wine estate, the mood here is family-friendly and the is food accessible and modern. There's a certain something about the beauty of the surrounds that sends the appetite into overdrive, and luckily it will be more than sated by the satisfying spread. Expect the likes of moreish fishcakes, steamed mussels and blackened calamari for starters, and mains that will have the carnivorous salivating.

Possibly the worst cuisine on offer in the entire Constantia valley. I have made the mistake of returning on three occasions, each of which reaffirmed my initial impression - that someone out there needs to buy the chef a spice rack...
