Reminiscent of the Asian-inspired restaurants of London's Soho, this chic restaurant, which combines designer charm with delicious Thai food, is located in the heart of the gay village. The bijou outside terrace is ideal for watching the street's frivolities, while inside the fireplace is ideal for cosy winter evenings.

We had a terrible experience at Soho. We ordered take-aways from Soho for 4 people. When we picked up our food and brought it home, we discovered that not a single one of our dishes came as ordered. The tofu dish was a fish dish, the sweet & sour dish was neither, the green chicken curry arrived as red curry duck, and the noodle dish (with chicken and sauce) was vegetable fried rice.

We returned the food for the correct order. When we arrived back at the restaurant (now over 1 hour after we placed our order), the replacement order was waiting. Only, the restaurant again forgot to include one dish. When I informed them of this, the manager went back into the kitchen and came out to tell us that they don’t have all the ingredients required for the noodle/chicken dish – I explained that this fact should have been communicated when we placed our order or shortly thereafter, to which the manager gave a dumb-found look. The kitchen recommended a replacement dish, which we took.

All-in-all, it took over 2 hours for the correct food to be given to us.

The manager, who I think was new, didn’t seem to care about the problem (and obviously doesn’t know how to run a restaurant properly).

Not the way we like to entertain guests from out of town.
