Twenty-four years after closing its doors, the grande dame of South African theatre, the Space, has been reincarnated into a brand-spanking new playhouse. Apart from the state-of-the-art 180-seater main theatre, there's an additional 80-seater multi-purpose stage dedicated to stand-up comedy, film and experimental works. There's an Italian restaurant and tea emporium on the premises.
