While we're still waiting to hear further details about the live music lineup at the city's new riverfront New Year's Eve celebration, we doubt it will hold a candle to the artists confirmed to play at this year's Reaction New Year's Eve concert. In the past, local promoter React Presents has brought EDM heavyweights to the Aragon Ballroom to ring in the new year, but in 2015 the concert is moving to Rosemont and will be spread across two days.
The Donald E. Stephens Convention Center will host the "warehouse-style" party, which features headlining sets from Deadmau5 (December 30) and Skrillex (December 31). The rest of the lineup is equally strong, including Chvrches, Run the Jewels, Chance the Rapper, Purity Ring and Thundercat. Essentially, it's shaping up to be a Vegas-style New Year's Eve bash in the heart of the Midwest.
Early bird general admission and VIP tickets are on sale now. You should probably buy sooner rather than later—this seems like the clear front-runner in this year's New Year's Eve concert slate. Take a look at the full lineup below.
