Though no longer as popular as when it first opened late in 2000, the two-floor 4 Dame Lane still brings plenty of people to its brazier-flanked doors, though, with its cavernous interior, it can seem to lack atmosphere on quieter evenings. The eclectic mix of music and minimalist surroundings pulls a bohemian crowd as does the fact that there is no entry charge after midnight.

The place tries to come across as classy but fails spectacularly. Attracts a lot of yobs and can be quite rough sometimes. The prices are expensive as well, the music is rubbish and it's clear the monkeys at the door don't check ID toall their patrons.
i used to love this place. Where is the man who used to look after the door here gone, his name was David, a dublin guy? he was always a pleasent saturday night encounter, witty chat, and a nack for knowing who to let in, strange how a good bouncer can actually make the difference. Very quiet in dame lane last saturday, slightly dodgy crowd too.
