Conrad Hotel review Rate it
The long-established Conrad, on a prominent site on the corner of St Stephen's Green, is a firm favourite among the suited, laptop-wielding types who've made Dublin the business hub that it is: expect fast internet connections, big desks and fax machines. Bedrooms are nicely done in neutral colours, with big windows, individual temperature controls for the air con and fabulous bathrooms.
The gym is excellent, and reduced rates are available for the use of the nearby K Club golf course. The hotel pub might lack character, but local office workers still pack the place every night; and the Alex restaurant is a particularly sleek hotel diner for those with expense accounts.
