O'Callaghan Davenport Hotel review Rate it
It may have made good use of the impressive 1863 façade of Merrion Hall, but most of the rest of the upmarket Davenport was built in the 1990s and, in a rather old-fashioned way, is utterly modern. The lobby is nice enough, as are the guest rooms (even if they won't conform to everyone's idea of chic interior design), and the location is suitably swanky. But, truth be told, there are better hotels in town for the price.
