This beautiful hotel occupies two adjoining houses close to St Stephen's Green. The property was once the home of Timothy Charles Harrington, former Lord Mayor of Dublin, who clearly had excellent architectural taste. The exquisite stuccoed ceilings have been retained, and there's much to praise here: the warmth, attentiveness and personal touch of the service, the beautifully appointed lobby and the spotless, simple but elegant bedrooms. Rooms at the rear look out across the Iveagh Gardens. This is one of Dublin's outstanding small hotels.
