With an interior designed by John Rocha and every fancy boutique touch from in-room iPod docks and (in the grander rooms) Macs with wireless keyboards to gorgeous bathrooms with aromatherapy toiletries and sunken baths, the Morrison lives up to its reputation for sophisticated luxury. It is ideally located across the river from Temple Bar (just a few steps away from the action but with a pleasingly sequestered feel).
A lot of work has been done on the interior in recent years, and the results are stunning (the hotel has also expanded in size recently). The comfortable rooms plead to be enjoyed, with Egyptian-cotton bed linen and the sheer decadence of Portuguese limestone in the bathrooms. The two bars (especially the intimate Morrison Bar) and the Halo restaurant are, as you would expect, design-literate, good-quality operations.
