Various set lunches will be offered at Tao this year. The Auspicious Set Lunch comes with snow pearl and jellyfish yee sang with mint sauce followed by steamed sea garoupa, double-boiled abalone with dried scallop and fish maw, and poached chicken with cordyceps flowers. For a larger party, opt for the Prosperity Set Menu (I) with salmon yee sang and dishes like pomfret fillet sautéed with celery, gingko nut and pine nut in a yam ring, wok-fried tiger prawns with hot savoury sauce, and braised shredded abalone with sea treasure broth.
Meanwhile the Prosperity Set Menu (II) amps it up with scallops, salmon and wasabi yee sang together with poached duck with Chinese herbs and cordyceps flowers, steamed tiger king garoupa and braised sea cucumber, and fish maw and dried oyster sea moss rolls in golden broth. The final Prosperity Set Menus (III) and (IV) offer premium delicacies like abalone and soft shell crab yee sang, steamed blue river prawns, and deep fried sweet potato ‘Ninko’ ball served with bird’s nest aloe vera.
