Slap bracelets. Polly Pockets. Tamagotchis. All hail the '90s. If you've ever felt the thrill of showing off your POG collection to your lunchroom cohorts before taking out your shiny slammer and destroying the competition, we get you.

Tiki No's new Scorpion Bowl POG Challenge is for all those kids at heart who still feel a competitive streak for the classic game—but now that we're adults, we can enjoy it with a side of rum. The North Hollywood tiki bar is launching a weekly Wednesday night Scorpion Bowl starting September 2 (8-10pm), during which teams of two or more can compete in a knockout-style POG tournament. A $10 entrance fee includes all POG game pieces; each week, the final team standing scores a $100 prize, a photo on the winner's wall, free entry into next week's tournament, and bragging rights that you still kill it at POGs. Second place receives Tiki No's signature Scorpion Bowl, so they can drown their sorrows over being runner-up with rum and pineapple juice.

Sign up for the tournament on Tiki No's Facebook page or call 818-766-0116. Pre-tournament rituals can include, but aren't limited to, listening to Third Eye Blind's self-titled album while stashing Bubble Tape in your neon fanny pack.
