Support independent record stores this Black Friday during Record Store Day

Instead of waiting in line for a Blu-Ray player or toaster oven this Black Friday, get psyched to be a cog in a different consumerism wheel—one that directly benefits independent retailers and puts limited edition tunes in your ears (or the ears of your loved ones). Record Store Day—created to bring business to local record shops across the country and to give artists an opportunity to collaborate and put out special releases—happens in April, but for the past few years there's been a Black Friday RSD to tide us over. This year's list of titles is no disappointment, and you can bet we'll be donning our layers and loitering outside of Origami (or any of these participating LA shops) bright and early on Nov 27. See below for a list of RSD exclusives we're most excited about, or check out the complete list of Black Friday releases.

Note: The following albums will only be available on 11/27—never again! RSD will also release Small Runs (albums made in small batches but potentially available elsewhere) and Firsts (albums released for RSD that will become available in wider release at a later date).
