Brasserie Romantique screening

American Cinematheque continues its homage to the best Belgian films of recent years with this screening of a 2012 ensemble comedy, centered around a gourmet restaurant owned by a brother and sister team. The brasserie attracts blind dates, fighting couples and sad singletons, as well as plenty of tension inside the kitchen, which comes to an entertaining head on Valentine's Day. The Dutch-language film will fittingly be followed by a raucous Belgian beer reception.
