The LA Conservancy offers a wonderful time-machine trip by screening classic films in Downtown's grand old movie palaces throughout the month of June. Tonight's feature is none other than Citizen Kane. Often touted as the greatest film ever made, Orson Welles' cinematic masterpiece—and his feature debut!—tells the story of enigmatic newspaper tycoon Charles Foster Kane as he rises, falls and leaves behind a riddle with his dying breath. Both the matinee and evening shows will be treated to live organ music by Tony Wilson before the movie. The fest's shows are known to sell out before the series opens, so get your tickets online ahead of time.
