Named after the Somali phrase for "let it go," Seattleites Nathan Quiroga and Benjamin Verdoes have fused their love of Sufi poetry and disparate musical backgrounds to create this spiritual indie rock duo. They make their way to the Bootleg Theater in support of debut album Even the Sun Will Burn—a labor of love, complete with heavy rhythms and melancholic lyrics. As a part of the Bootleg's free music Mondays in July, Iska Dhaaf will be joined by local indie outfits Hi Ho Silver Oh, Irontom and Wistappear. RSVP here.
