Phosphorescent

Phosphorescent is a Brooklyn (by way of Athens, Georgia) band featuring singer-songwriter Matthew Houck and a cast of hirsute rogues. Houck’s voice cracks and moans in ways reminiscent of Will Oldham, yet over the course of five albums, he’s become something of a bona fide rock star. Catch him at the El Rey this Monday.
