Robert DeLong + Mystery Skulls

Genre-bending Los Angeles drummer, producer and electro singer-songsmith DeLong impressed at last year's Coachella. Now he brings his sunny, Postal Service-styled electropop to the El Rey to promote his intensely danceable debut album, Just Movement. He's like an edgier, more fun Owl City, who creates his sound with keyboards and drums but also MIDI interfaces and game controllers. He'll be joined by fellow LA transplant Luis Dubuc—aka Mystery Skulls—an indie pop/electronica performer originally from Dallas.
