A far cry from Medeski Martin & Wood's groove-jazz improv, bassist Chris Wood’s Nashville-based Americana roots side project focuses on his older brother's singing and songwriting (Mumford & Sons and Avett Brothers fans, take note). Vocally, the siblings are a match only genetics could muster. Get up close and personal tonight as they celebrate their new LP, The Muse. NY folk outfit Ollabelle member Amy Helm—daughter of the late, great Levon—will bring her sweet voice and rootsy sounds as the night's opener.
