The increasingly upscale Americana at Brand just got another dose of class with its newest addition, a Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory-inspired candy boutique for grown-ups, Sugarfina. Sugarfina's second LA location at the Americana exclusively offers more than 150 gourmet confections, hand-picked from various countries, that satisfy all ages. The high-end candies, which range from fun (think: French Champagne gummy bears and spiced rum and coke gummies) to sophisticated (check out their pumpkin pie caramels and matcha green tea malt balls) are best given as gifts, whether it’s for yourself (which we highly recommend) or a friend. Of course, they also have staples like licorices, malt balls, chocolates and toffee. These sweets may be pricey, but they're otherwise guilt-free: Sugarfina’s facilities use renewable energy, soy-based packaging and environmentally friendly ink, and on top of that, a percentage of the profits benefit non-profit organizations.
