In this third solo exhibition in the Travesía Cuatro gallery, Mexican artist Jorge Méndez Blake shows new advances in his research on literature and its impact on the visual arts. In this exhibition, the artist focuses on the nocturne, a musical composition developed extensively in Romanticism and Modernism. In Span and Latin America the nocturne was an inspiration to works by Rubén Darío, Leopoldo Lugones, García Lorca and José Asunción Silva. Méndez Blake chooses these works to for an exercise of poetic dissection.
