Rogier van der Weyden

As only those at the Prado would have it, the great Madrid museum brings us another of the most interesting art propositions of the season: to mark the restoration of 'El Gran Calvario de El Escorial' in the museum's workshops, you'll be able to see 'The Calvary', 'The Descent' and 'Durán Madonna' together. Other works by the Flemish painter, such as the 'Miraflores Triptych', also form part of this promising show. Van der Weyden's relationship with sculpture and the artistic mark he left on Spain are also considered in this exhibition.
