Hotel Lope de Vega review Rate it
A stone's throw from the Prado, this anonymous-looking hotel is a shrine, of sorts, to one of Spain's most celebrated playwrights. The rooms are done up in standard-issue mid-range decor, but are a good size, comfortable and many have large balconies. Posted outside each one is information about Lope de Vega, and the corridors are lined with pictures of his productions. Other nice touches on the landings include books about the great man himself and other literary giants, along with bowls of fruit.
