This very friendly, first-floor hostal has a pleasantly rough-and-tumble family feel about it. The 26 high-ceilinged air-conditioned rooms all come with an en suite bathroom and decent shower. The helpful couple who run it speak various languages between them and can book you into other hotels if you're moving on to other parts of the country. The hearty breakfast includes plenty of fresh fruit and very good coffee.
