The best review for a hotel is with your feet. I mean, do you go back despite competition? if so, then they are doing something right. And indeed they are. The building is spectacular, the lobby and common areas truly magnificent and just about the best location in central Madrid. I have been a regular guest of the Westin Palace for years and I keep coming back to the point that I know the Staff and I feel like at home away from home. If you can afford it, book a suite or a junior suite for huge rooms with all amenities and spectacular views. I love the executive suites with two bathrooms and they come handy if you have guests dining or even for a meeting. The large living room overlooking the Spanish Congress is a gem of a room and you can truly impress your guests, or get one overlooking the Plaza de Neptuno.Room service is top-notch and if you have breakfast included in your rate you can have it delivered to your room with only delivery/service charge. I like this.
There is a great Asian restaurant in the premises called Asia Gallery that is a must-try.
